Dear Editor:
We want to thank the officials from Penn Highlands for our recent meeting on Aug. 12 with the limited number of Concerned Citizens as was requested.
Those present from our group included business leaders, physicians, state representatives, an attorney and private citizens.
The purpose of meeting was to discuss the need for added or revived patient services, physician recruitment for our hospital and ways to maintain Clearfield Hospital as a full fledge institution.
Also needed are service expansion plans for the future.
We encourage the public to use the facilities whenever possible, to write and call community and political leaders as frequently as possible.
There are plans for future meetings of The Concern Citizens for Clearfield Hospital and the public will be informed.
