Baghdad car bomb kills at least 10, wounds 70

At least 10 people were killed and 70 people wounded when a parked car bomb detonated in Baghdad’s Sadr City district, police officials in the capital told CNN.

The car bomb detonated in Al-Habibiya, an area of Sadr City, and targeted car dealerships selling used and new cars.

This incident comes after a massive truck bomb struck another part of the predominantly Shiite district Thursday, killing at least 36 and wounding scores in one of the worst attacks to hit the capital in months.

ISIS claimed responsibility for that attack, which targeted a fruit and vegetable market.
