Studio brings painting parties to the Moshannon Valley and surrounding area
PHILIPSBURG – Philipsburg now boasts the first painting party studio of its kind in the Moshannon Valley.
Recently founded by friends, Jody Gunter and Corie Hartsock, the co-owners have opened their studio at 126 N. Second St., in the heart of downtown Philipsburg.
Visitors may “come as you are to make new friends, connect with old friends and have a relaxing evening painting together.”
“This informal and fun evening of painting and mingling is an inexpensive alternative to a night out,” said the co-owners in a press release.
Catering to the general public with open studio parties, as well as private parties for groups, companies or birthdays, Two Painting Broads brings art to the community by facilitating gatherings around canvases paired with good conversation, good food and a relaxing atmosphere.
Two Painting Broads is also mobile, bringing the art studio to you at your venue, for your private gathering.
A recent customer said, “Each painting was amazing and unique. It was so much fun, and I could not speak more highly of The Broads.”
Although Two Painting Broads is not a franchise and is privately owned, Entrepreneur magazine recently named the Paint & Sip Studio franchise option as the No. 1 franchise in the annual Franchise 500 edition.
Painting studios like Two Painting Broads are popping up all over the nation and Philipsburg hosts the first of its kind in the area.
“Our clients come from State College, Clearfield, Kylertown and beyond. Two Painting Broads holds a commitment to offering the best quality of paintings at an affordable price,” said the co-owners.
