A truck exploded on a main road in the Afghanistan capital Friday, killing eight people and wounding 400 others, authorities said.
The blast in Kabul destroyed residential areas and businesses, said Police Chief Abdul Rahman Rahimi. Casualties included children, he said.
There was no claim of responsibility.
