CLEARFIELD — A heavy downpour just minutes before game time at the Lawrence Township Recreation Park Field washed out the Clearfield American Legion baseball team’s season opener with Huntingdon Sunday evening.
The John Lewis Shade Post 6 Chiefs will try again Thursday with a home game against Clarence at the LTRP diamond at 6 p.m.
