AUSTIN – Sinnemahoning State Park will again be offering interpretive pontoon boat tours for the 2015 season. Visitors can join park staff for a relaxing and informative 45-minute pontoon boat tour of the George B. Stevenson Reservoir.
Programs will be held on May 24-25, June 7 and June 28, July 5 and July 18, Aug. 2 and Aug. 16 and Sept. 7 and Sept. 20. Tours begin at 10:30 a.m., 12 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.
All ages and abilities welcome. Pre-registration is required. There is no fee for this program, but donations are accepted.
To make a reservation for the pontoon boat or for more information about park programs, please call the Sinnemahoning State Park Office and Wildlife Center at 814-647-8401.
If you need an accommodation to participate in park activities due to a disability, please contact the park you plan to visit. With at least three days’ notice, interpreters for people who are deaf or hard of hearing are available for educational programs.
