HOUTZDALE – Emergency personnel were dispatched to a reported “unruly” incident Tuesday at the State Correctional Institution at Houtzdale, according to Jeremy Ruffner of Clearfield 911.
Clearfield 911 received the call regarding the reported incident at 2:45 p.m., said Ruffner. He said emergency personnel were dispatched due to injuries that occurred during the incident.
Ruffner said he was unsure about the magnitude of the incident or the extent of injuries but described it as “unruly.” “It’s my understanding that everything is under control now,” he said.
A spokesperson for the SCI Houtzdale said there wasn’t any information regarding the incident available for release.
