CURWENSVILLE — Curwensville Area High School senior Trey Rauckhorst was selected by the coaches for both the Moshannon Valley League and Allegheny Mountain League 2014-15 boys basketball all-star teams.
The 6-6 center led the Golden Tide in rebounds with 160 and was No. 2 in scoring with 223 points in 21 games.
He averaged 7.6 rebounds and 10.6 points, hitting double figures 12 times with a high of 18 points against West Branch in an 81-61 loss Dec. 16.
Rauckhorst moved into fourth place on Curwensville’s all-time list for blocked shots with 91, the second highest single-season total.
He also finished his three-year career No. 15 all-time in rebounds and became the 47th member of the Golden Tide 500-Point Club with 527 in 66 games.
Juniors Kody Trude and Austin Krise of champion West Branch and senior Shea O’Donnell of Glendale are repeaters on the Moshannon Valley League All-Star Team.
Moshannon Valley sophomore Curtis Neff and Harmony senior Logan Sral also were selected.
Ridgway junior Jeremy Brier was the top vote-getter on the Allegheny Mountain League All-Star Team that also includes senior Mitchell Struble and sophomore Nate DaCanal of champion Elk County Catholic, senior Dane Auker and junior Christian LaParne of DuBois Central Catholic, senior Christian Cherry and junior Kevin Benson of Brockway, senior Andrew Serafini of Brockway and senior Ben MacDonald of Ridgway.
Brier, Struble and Auker were AML All-Stars last season, too.

Elk County Catholic defeated Ridgway 47-46 in AML championship game.
