Three bombs exploded across Cairo on Thursday, killing at least one person, state-run media reported.
Two explosions occurred in the Mohandiseen area of the capital. Both were near mobile phone shops, Al-Ahram reported.
A third bomb detonated at about the same time, near a popular restaurant in the Imbaba district.
Authorities had been tipped off to the presence of an unidentified package, but it blew up before officers could reach the scene.
The Egyptian Health Ministry reported the lone death.
