CLEARFIELD – On Nov. 15 at the Knights of Columbus craft show, the “Save the Ritz” Committee pulled Carol Pizzella as the winner of a handcrafted bench that was donated by Terry Malloy of Jim’s Sports Center.

The Ritz Theater needs a second digital projector with very few movies available in 35mm film. “One auditorium must remain dark when a new movie isn’t available for the old projector.  That second digital projector is essential to keep the theater doors open,” said Pamela Babick, committee chair.

“The committee is working hard to purchase a second digital projector and has achieved 36 percent of its financial goal.  We thank the community for its continuing support, and the committee looks forward to reaching its goal and truly saving the Ritz.”
