CLEARFIELD – Students in the Clearfield County Career & Technology Center’s Electronics and Robotics Program have been learning how to do programmable controls and PID controls.

With this skill they have learned to build a quadcopter. A quadcopter is a multi-rotor copter with four arms, and each of which have a motor and a propeller at their ends.

Quadcoptors are becoming popular with emergency facilities that are using them to deliver AEDs to emergency situations. Delivery companies are also using them to deliver packages.
