CLEARFIELD – District Attorney William A. Shaw Jr. has announced Clearfield County’s Fugitive of the Week for the week of Oct. 6.
Shaw identified the fugitive as Trisha Renee Dippery, 19, of Beaver Springs. Dippery is wanted for failure to appear at criminal call on Sept. 4.
On Feb. 3, Officer Zayne Rhed of the DuBois City police filed a criminal complaint against Dippery. She was charged with access device fraud, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, on Jan. 22, police received a report about the theft of a debit card. Upon investigation it was found that Dippery had taken the debit card and unlawfully utilized it to withdraw $200 from the victim’s bank account.
A preliminary hearing was scheduled for March 28, at which time all charges were held for court. On Sept. 4, Dippery failed to appear for criminal call and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
Dippery is described as a Caucasian female who stands 5 feet, 4 inches tall. She has green eyes and blonde hair.
