State police at Philipsburg
- An incident of harassment occurred Sept. 16 in the area of 300 E. Presqueisle St. in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, two women allegedly engaged in a physical altercation. The incident, state police said, remains under investigation at this time.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an alarm at a local business on Plaza Drive.
- Police received a report about a hit-and-run accident in the Wal-Mart parking lot. The accident, police said, remains under investigation and the suspect vehicle is believed to be a black Toyota Sedan.
- Police received a report about a 9-1-1 hang-up call at the Hampton Inn.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief at the Clearfield Area Junior – Senior High School.
- Police served an arrest warrant during a traffic stop on Route 322.
- Police were requested to check the welfare of an individual on Clarendon Avenue. Upon arrival police found the individual to be OK.
- Police received a report about a two-vehicle accident on Goshen Road. Minor injuries were reported as a result of the accident; both vehicles were towed from the scene, police said.
- Police received a report about an alleged trespassing incident at a residence in Kerr Addition.
- Police received a report about a psychological emergency at the Edgewood Apartments. However, police were cancelled while responding to the scene.
- Police received a report about a civil dispute.
DuBois City
- On Monday, police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief in the 100 block of West Long Avenue. The victim told police that someone damaged a chair on his porch that he’d owned for years. The incident, police said, remains under investigation at this time.
- On Monday, police received a report about an alarm at a business in the 800 block of Beaver Drive. Upon arrival police found that employees accidentally activated the alarm.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief to a vehicle Monday in the 300 block of Quarry Avenue. The victim told police that someone had attempted to remove the awning from his RV, causing damage to it. The incident, police said, remains under investigation at this time.
- On Tuesday, police received a report about a hit-and-run accident in the 600 block of Division Street. The victim told police that his vehicle was parked outside of his place of employment and it was struck by an unknown vehicle. The accident, police said, remains under investigation at this time.
- On Tuesday, police received a report about the alleged theft of money from a vehicle in the 100 block of North Brady Street. The victim told police that she believed a known female took the money from her vehicle. The incident, police said, remains under investigation with charges pending at this time.
Sandy Township
- On Monday, a Wayne Road man reported that his neighbor’s dog is constantly barking. Police spoke to the owner and handled the situation without incident.
- On Monday, a West Long Avenue resident reported a teenage boy on an all-terrain vehicle trespassed onto her property and caused damage.
- A woman reported on Monday that there was a stray brown and white boxer without any collar or tags in the fenced in area of an Arminta Street residence.
- On Monday, police responded to Lundgren Road where caretakers reported that someone had broken into a vacant residence. The incident, police said, remains under investigation at this time.
- On Monday, a resident reported observing a man with a grey T-shirt and black winter cap on trying to get into the Goodwill Box located on South Brady Street. The man, however, was gone upon police arrival, and there did not appear to be any sign of forced entry.
- A 68-year-old Clearfield man was waiting to pull out at Kwik Fill on Monday when a vehicle heading south on Brady Street crossed over and hit his vehicle. The operator, he said, then fled the scene. Police were unable to locate the suspect vehicle.
- Police received a report about a man who was allegedly lying in a yard on Dixon Avenue on Tuesday. Upon arrival police transported him to the police station and released him to a friend upon speaking with him and running a records check. Charges, police said, are currently pending at this time.
- Police received a report about a man walking in the area of Wasson Avenue and Hand Street who was allegedly intoxicated on Tuesday. The man, however, was gone upon police arrival.
- A woman reported two RZR’s almost struck her vehicle while she was at Kwik Fill on Tuesday. Police were unable to locate the utility-terrain vehicles, however.
