State police at DuBois
- An incident of theft occurred sometime Sept. 19-20 along North Continental Drive in Union Township. During the incident, someone allegedly removed a lawn mower, weed eater and a tree stand from the victim’s property. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the state police at DuBois at 814-371-4652.
State police at Ridgway
- An incident of criminal mischief occurred sometime Sept. 15-24 at a logging site off of Kyler Road in Fox Township. During the incident, someone allegedly poured an unknown substance in the fuel tank of a 1999 Timber Jack log skidder. Damage was reported at $10,000, state police said.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a traffic violation in the area of South Second Street. Further, Clearfield Borough police located and stopped the operator.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of trespassing in the Glen Richey area. It was noted that police have a suspect and charges are currently pending at this time.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of trespassing on Baney Road. The incident, police said, was unfounded.
- Police were requested to check the welfare of a Hyde resident.
DuBois City
- Police received a report about an alarm Tuesday in the 500 block of Sunflower Drive. Upon speaking with fire officials, police found it was a false alarm.
- Police received a report about an accident Tuesday at the intersection of Sunflower Drive and Sixth Street. Upon arrival police found that an ambulance vehicle was struck by a gray Ford Focus. The operator admitted to possibly striking the ambulance, and the operators exchanged information.
- On Wednesday, police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that had occurred overnight. The victim told police that the operator of a vehicle struck her mailbox, destroying it. The incident, police said, remains under investigation at this time; anyone with information is asked to contact police.
- Police received a report about an alarm at a business Wednesday on Beaver Drive. While responding to the scene, police found it was a false alarm.
- Police received a report about a domestic dispute on Wednesday in the 100 block of West Long Avenue. Upon arrival police found that two females had allegedly engaged in an argument. One female had also allegedly shot the other in the stomach with an airsoft gun. Police found this wasn’t the first incident involving the airsoft gun while they had shot at each other on separate occasions. One female, police said, decided to move out of the residence, and neither wanted to press charges.
