KARNS CITY’S MORONEY NAMED D9SPORTS.COM WEEK FOUR FOOTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
15 D9 athletes named to honor roll
CLARION, Pa. – After leading Karns City to a 16-6 win over Clarion in a battle of one vs. two, the Gremlins Logan Moroney is the D9Sports.com District 9 Football Player of the Week for Week Four.
Moroney accounted for 10 of Karns City’s 16 points with a touchdown, an extra point and a 27-yard field goal while catching eight passes for 122 yards and scoring on a 4-yard run as the first-ranked Gremlins in the First Commonwealth Bank District 9 Rankings toppled the second-ranked Bobcats.
Joining Moroney in being honored are 15 players on the Week Three 2014 District 9 Honor Roll.
The Player of the Week and Honor Roll will run through Week 10 of the 2014 high school football season and will be released at the conclusion of the week’s games either Sunday or Monday.
