CLEARFIELD — The Clearfield Fall Ball Team scored in all five innings of the nightcap to back the pitching of Logan Lykens for a 9-3 victory that salvaged a split of the season-opening doubleheader with Bellefonte at the Lawrence Township Recreation Park Field Sunday afternoon.
Lykens limited the visitors to four hits and recorded 10 strikeouts.
Marcus Luzier doubled and singled while Jeremy Learish singled twice to pace Clearfield’s nine-hit attack.

Josh Kennedy broke up the no-no with a run-scoring single in the fifth frame.
Clearfield will go to DuBois for a 4:30 p.m. game Thursday and travel to Altoona for a 1 p.m. twinbill with Bishop Guilfoyle Sunday.
