AccuWeather Inc., the global leader in digital weather information, has announced it has launched an AccuWeather app for users of the new Amazon Fire phone available from the Amazon Appstore. The free app includes popular AccuWeather features, such as MinuteCast®, the leading minute-by-minute weather forecast.

AccuWeather MinuteCast includes precipitation type and intensity, and start and end times for precipitation. It gives users by-the-minute precipitation forecasts for the next two hours, set for their exact location, and with the Superior Accuracy™ that is AccuWeather’s hallmark.
In addition to MinuteCast, AccuWeather for the Amazon Fire phone provides severe weather alerts, current conditions, hourly forecasts for the next 24 hours, and 15-day extended forecasts. Forecasts are available for nearly three million locations worldwide. Interactive maps and weather radar are also available for tracking the latest storms.
AccuWeather also offers an app for users of Kindle Fire tablets, which features AccuWeather MinuteCast.
AccuWeather for Fire Phone and Kindle Fire users are available from the Amazon Appstore.
