CLEARFIELD – Staff members at the Liddle Gallery in downtown Clearfield have announced upcoming events for the month of August.
At 5 p.m. Aug. 14, the gallery will host an after-hours event with the Clearfield Chamber of Commerce. Members are encouraged to attend and promote their artwork and the gallery.
Refreshments will be provided at the after-hours event. However, attendees are welcome to bring refreshments if they wish to do so.
On Aug. 23, the Liddle Gallery staff will hold their grand opening event. It will be held from 1 p.m. until close. Members are encouraged to bring extra artwork to display in the event someone purchases one of their pieces.
Gallery staff noted that an artist is needed to paint a mural on the wall of Scotto’s Pizza. Anyone interested in painting the mural is asked to contact the gallery.
Gallery staff also noted that Chris Renaud of the Clearfield Revitalization Corp. visited the gallery and pulled the names of the featured artists for August. Those artists are Gloria Rowles, Andy Hoover and Jane Lee Yare.
