State police at Clearfield

• An incident of harassment and criminal mischief occurred Friday on Locust Street in Beccaria Township. Further, a 29-year-old Coalport man and the victim had recently broken up; the victim had started to date someone else. During the incident, the man allegedly arrived at the victim’s residence while intoxicated and started to pick a fight with her. He allegedly pushed her to the ground and then threw a pogo stick at her. It struck her in the left hip area. As the man was leaving, he allegedly threw something at the side of the trailer, which caused a dent. Charges will be filed through the district court.

State police at DuBois

• An accident occurred Saturday on Game School Road north of Penny Lane in Snyder Township. Further, a 17-year-old Brockway boy was traveling northbound when he became distracted with text-messaging on his cellular phone. His vehicle started to drift leftward from its lane, crossed the centerline and traveled onto the south berm. His vehicle struck a mailbox and a large tree, which caused it to rotate counterclockwise and overturn. At that point, his vehicle struck another large tree and came to a rest. State police found the boy was under the influence of alcohol and placed him under arrest for DUI and related offenses. Charges are currently pending blood test results.
• An incident of burglary occurred July 9 on Route 28 in Warsaw Township. During the incident, someone allegedly entered a residence and removed multiple items. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the state police at DuBois at 814-371-4652.
• An incident of theft occurred sometime July 3-4 on Sugar Hill Road in Snyder Township. During the incident, someone allegedly took the headlights out of a vehicle and damaged its hood in the process. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the state police at DuBois at 814-371-4652.
• An incident of burglary occurred sometime between May 25 and June 28 on James Bond Road in Polk Township. During the incident, someone allegedly entered a residence and removed multiple items. State police at Philipsburg

• An incident of burglary occurred Friday at multiple sheds, concession stands and churches in Port Matilda Borough. During the incident, a 40-year-old Philipsburg woman and two teen boys allegedly broke into multiple sheds. They also allegedly broke into two churches and two concession stands, stealing gasoline, candy and cash. The total loss hasn’t yet been determined, state police said. All three suspects have been apprehended and interviewed by state police. It was noted that the woman and one teen have been lodged in the Centre County Jail. The second teen was released to his parents. Charges will be filed against all three suspects, state police said.
• An incident of burglary occurred Friday on Phoenix Road in Rush Township. During the incident, three males allegedly approached the victim at his residence; they were in a newer-style pick-up truck. Two males allegedly offered to re-seal his driveway to distract the victim. At this time, the third male entered the victim’s residence and broke a lock on a cabinet. Nothing was taken from the residence, state police said. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
• An incident of harassment and disorderly conduct occurred Saturday in the Cold Stream parking lot in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, a 64-year-old Allport man and the victim allegedly engaged in a verbal altercation, which turned physical. The argument, state police said, was over the man’s erratic driving during Philipsburg Heritage Days fireworks. The man was cited for the incident.
• An incident of criminal mischief occurred July 5 in the 100 block of North Eighth Street in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly smashed out the victim’s car window. The incident, state police said, remains under investigation at this time.
• An incident of criminal mischief occurred Thursday or Friday in the 200 block of North Fifth Street in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly used an object to damage the door lock on the victim’s 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse while it was parked in front of their residence. Damage, state police said, is estimated at $75. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the state police at Philipsburg at 814-342-3370.
• An incident of criminal mischief occurred sometime between July 4 and July 9 on South Main Street in Port Matilda Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly damaged the victim’s black Ford F-150.
• A hit-and-run accident occurred Saturday on Front Street in Philipsburg Borough. Further, the operator of a Chevrolet Silverado had legally parked along the street. The operator of a suspect vehicle struck its driver’s side and then fled the scene after causing minor damage.
• An incident of harassment occurred July 5 in the 100 block of Elm Street in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, the victim and accused who were both unidentified allegedly engaged in a verbal argument that turned physical. The accused, state police said, allegedly scratched the victim’s arm, and the incident remains under investigation at this time.

State police at Ridgway

• An incident of terroristic threats occurred Saturday on Horner Road in Jones Township. During the incident, a 60-year-old Wilcox man and a couple allegedly engaged in a verbal confrontation; it occurred when the man stopped in the roadway in front of the couple’s residence. The man allegedly exited his vehicle and attempted to antagonize a physical altercation with the male. He allegedly threatened to kill the couple and directed numerous obscene, sexually-related gestures toward the female. Charges will be filed for terroristic threats, harassment and disorderly conduct.
• An incident of aggravated assault occurred Sunday on Keystone Road in Horton Township. During the incident, a 32-year-old Brockport man and the victim allegedly had a disagreement over an autographed poster. The man allegedly threw items at the victim and smashed a glass jar on her face, causing bodily injury and requiring medical treatment. The man was taken into custody and remanded to the Elk County Jail on a probation violation. Charges are to be filed through the district court.

Clearfield Borough

• Police received a report about young kids who were allegedly playing on the roadway and unsupervised on East Sixth Street.  Police located the kids and Children & Youth Services responded to the scene.
• Police received a report about an alleged domestic situation on Turnpike Avenue.  Upon arrival police found a physical altercation had occurred between two males and a female.  A female and male agreed to leave the residence for the evening, police said.
• Police received a report about an alleged break-in on South Fifth Street.  Upon arrival to the scene, police spoke to witnesses who stated a male kicked in the door to a residence and then fled the scene.
• Police received a report about an unwanted person on Bigler Avenue.  Police responded and handled the situation at the scene.
• Police received a report about a hanging basket that was allegedly removed from a West Fifth Street residence.
• Police made contact with an individual who was allegedly hanging around in the park after closing hours.  Further, police advised them to leave the park.
• Police received a report about an alleged fight along Front Street.  Police searched the area but were unable to locate anyone.
• Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment on West Pine Street. Further, the individual involved left the scene prior to police arrival.
• Police responded to the area of Turnpike Avenue, where a female was allegedly attempting to get a ride to Philipsburg.  Police located the female and assisted her in getting transportation.
• Police received a report about a possible drunken motorist in the area of Nichols and West Front streets.  However, police were unable to locate the motorist.
• Police received a report after someone allegedly threw a large quantity of nails into a parking area on Daisy Street.
• Police received a report about an alleged domestic situation on McBride Street.  Police found that an altercation had taken place between a male and a female.  Citations will be filed for the incident, police said.
• Police responded to a parking complaint along Daisy Street.
• Police received a report about someone allegedly tampering with windows and trying to gain entry into a closed building on South Second Street.  Police responded to the area, but the male had fled the scene.
• Police handled an alleged incident of harassment.
• Police assisted emergency personnel along South Front Street with an unresponsive female.  Police arrived and provided care until emergency personnel could arrive and transport the female to the hospital for treatment.
• Police received a call about a lost cell phone.  The owner later called back, stating she had found the phone.
• Police received a report about the alleged theft of cigarettes on East Market Street.
• Police responded to a noise complaint at Witmer Park.

Lawrence Township

• Police received a report about an alleged verbal domestic dispute on Mount Joy Road.
• Police received a report about a minor accident in Golden Rod. Further, a female operator struck a vehicle and wasn’t able to locate its owner.
• Police received a report about a bicycle that was allegedly stolen from a South Second Street residence.
• Police received a report about a minor vehicle accident in Golden Rod. However, both parties involved were gone upon police arrival.
• Police received a report about alleged suspicious activity in Hillsdale. Extra patrols will be provided to the area.
• Police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief that occurred in Hillsdale.
• Police received a report about a fraudulent check that was allegedly cashed at a local bank.
• Police assisted a disabled motorist on Scribbers Road.
• Police received a report about a vehicle fire along Lick Run Road. Upon arrival police found it to be in Goshen Township.
• Police received a report about an open door at a business along South Second Street. Upon arrival police found everything to be OK.
• Police received a traffic complaint that occurred on Lawrence Avenue.
• Police received a report about an alleged domestic dispute on Weaver Street Extension. Further, a Clearfield male was arrested for simple assault and related charges as a result of the incident.

DuBois City

• Police received a report about an alleged domestic dispute Friday in the 400 block of South Main Street. Further, two males engaged in an argument; however, there wasn’t any physical contact, police said. Police handled the incident without making any arrests.
• Police received a report about an alleged domestic dispute Friday in the 700 block of Munroe Street. Further, a mother and son engaged in an argument over a child’s custody, police said. Police handled the incident without making any arrests.
• On Friday, two men and a woman from Punxsutawney were allegedly observed trespassing within a fenced area of DuBois Logistics. The trio, police said, will be cited for trespassing as a result of the incident.
• On Friday, police stopped a male who was operating a bicycle on South Franklin Street near West Weber Avenue. He was allegedly operating the bicycle in a reckless manner and nearly struck by the police cruiser. When police reviewed identification information, the male took off; police wrestled him to the ground but he took off again. The male, police said, was wearing a black shirt and camouflage shorts. He was wearing a black backpack and on a red, white and black Trek bicycle. Anyone with information about the male is asked to contact DuBois City police.
• On Saturday, police received a report about a male who was allegedly attempting to gain entry into vehicles in the area of West Washington Avenue and Ridge Street. Police located the male and arrested him for being intoxicated.
• Police received a report about an alleged domestic dispute Saturday in the first block of East Long Avenue. Upon arrival police found a group of people engaged in an argument. Police handled the incident without making any arrests.
• On Saturday, a woman told police she was in a business along the 300 block of West Long Avenue. She was allegedly approached by a male who stole her medication bottle from out of her bra and then fled. The incident, police said, remains under investigation at this time.
• On Sunday, police received a report about an alleged domestic dispute in the 400 block of Pifer Street. The parties involved, police said, engaged in an argument over money for bills and beer. Police handled the incident without making any arrests.

Sandy Township

• On Friday, a 21-year-old Dixon Avenue man reported that a known 22-year-old Robinson Street man arrived at his residence wanting to start a fight.  The accused allegedly grabbed him around the neck, ripped a chain from his neck and shoved his head into the wall.  The accused was gone upon police arrival, and the situation was handled without incident.
• Employees of Shop ‘N Save reported on Friday that an elderly couple was taking pop from the store without paying for it. Upon investigation it was found to be a misunderstanding between the couple who each thought the other was paying for it.  No charges were filed as a result of the incident.
• A vehicle driven by a 55-year-old Woodland man was stopped at a red light on Shaffer Road when a vehicle driven by a 31-year-old DuBois man hit it from behind on Friday.  The Woodland man was transported to Penn Highlands for injuries sustained in the mishap.  The DuBois man’s vehicle was towed from the scene.
• On Friday, two vehicles collided when their operators were backing out in the Red Lobster parking lot.  No injuries and minor damage were reported.
• While on patrol Friday, police observed a vehicle being driven erratically on the Blinker Parkway.  The vehicle was stopped and a 44-year-old Texas man failed field sobriety testing.  He was transported to Penn Highlands for a legal blood draw and released to his roommate.  Charges are currently pending at this time.
• On Saturday, a 36-year-old Hanes Drive woman reported that a 22-year-old Hanes Drive man was communicating with her 16-year-old daughter via Facebook. She alleged he was trying to convince the girl to report her mother to CYS.  Police handled the situation without incident.
• A Cardinal Drive woman reported Saturday that an unknown person was sending her text messages accusing her of stealing medications.  Police contacted the owner of the number and handled the situation without incident.
• On Saturday, Treasure Lake Security reported that a man was riding a golf cart while intoxicated in Cayman Landing.  Police located the 20-year-old man and the situation was handled without incident.
