DUBOIS – OAG Management, in association with the Western Pennsylvania Police Athletic League (WPAL), has announced a change in venue for this year’s Golden Gloves event. The Bellamauro, located at 1017 Reynoldsville-Falls Creek Rd., Reynoldsville, will now host the event on Saturday. Doors will open at 6 p.m. Boxing will begin at 7:30 p.m.
The evening will feature approximately eight live bouts ranging from first-round to semi-final fights in various weight classes and divisions. Live music performed by King Thaddeus & the Peace Cruisers will follow the competition.
There will be a shuttle to the event. The bus will pick up at the DuBois Fire Co., Third Ward Hose, located at 301 First St. in DuBois. The bus will pick up at 5:45 p.m., 6:45 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. and return twice.

Tickets for the event are $30 for reserved seating and $100 for VIP Gold Ringside. VIP Gold Ringside tickets include a complimentary cocktail hour and hors d’oeuvres from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now online Pre-sale tickets will also be available at the Casteel Chiropractic Center. Proceeds will benefit the new WPAL Boxing & Fitness Center, a local non-profit 501(c)(3) organization located at 37 E. Long Ave. in DuBois. The winners will advance to the next round of the Pennsylvania Golden Gloves tournament.
All open division boxers are fighting to earn their spot in representing the Pennsylvania Golden Gloves Boxing Team at the National Tournament of Champions held in Las Vegas, NV on May 11-May 17.
