The Anderson Creek Sportsmen’s Club held its final groundhog match of the year on Oct. 13 with 24 shooters.
Coming out on top of the Custom Class with a near perfect score, 199 out of a possible 200, was Frank Carrier of Summerville. Second place was a tie between Jeremiah Keefe of Hastings and Mike Hagan of Rimersburg.
The hot gun in the Factory Varmint Class was David Shaw of Curwensville. Second place was Rick Taylor of Clearfield and third place was Charles Delp of Brookville.
Jim Wonders of Johnstown won the group match with a great five-shot group, at 300 yards, that measured a tight .546″.

Next week is the Deer Rifle Challenge, with full-size deer targets at 400 yards.
