TYRONE – The Tyrone Fitness and Wellness Center will provide a free educational program entitled “The Mediterranean Diet. A Lifestyle Approach to Easy, Healthy Eating.”
Individuals who attend the program will learn about the Mediterranean Diet and how following the diet can support good health.
The program will be held from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. Nov. 12 in the main lobby at the new Tyrone Health & Wellness Building at 154 Hospital Dr., Tyrone, PA 16686.
The program will be presented by Linda Petrunak, RD, registered dietician at Tyrone Hospital.

The Tyrone Fitness and Wellness Center offers monthly health and wellness classes that are free and open to the public.
The Tyrone Fitness and Wellness Center was developed through a partnership between ProCare Fitness and Tyrone Hospital. The facility is located on the Tyrone Hospital Campus at 154 Hospital Dr., Suite 1 in Tyrone. The facility is outfitted with a broad range of fitness equipment, offers a variety of fitness and wellness programs, group fitness classes and the services of a Health Coach. The Tyrone Fitness and Wellness Center is open to the public and serves people age 18 and older.
