The Clearfield VFW fall baseball team suffered its first loss of the season Thursday when home-standing Bigler-West Branch rallied for pairs of runs in the sixth and seventh innings to pull out a 5-4 win.
Josh Kennedy had two hits, one a triple, and drove in two runs for Clearfield, which had reeled off four consecutive victories.
Nate Brady was the losing pitcher.
Jesse Martin paced Bigler-West Branch with a double and two singles.
Clearfield will play a 1 p.m. doubleheader against Altoona Sunday at the Lawrence Township Recreation Park Field.
