CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield-based state police would like to warn residents of paving scams.
State police remind residents to verify anyone who is making improvements or doing paving work at their home. Further, state police encourage residents to obtain references and as much company information as possible.
“Someone could possibly try to scam you out of money,” state police said, adding residents shouldn’t provide any cash upfront before any work has been done at their home.
