Andrew Pierce tossed seven scoreless innings and the State College Spikes shut out the Jamestown Jammers, 6-0, to take the third and deciding game of the New York-Penn League Semifinal Series on Sunday night at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. The Spikes will now meet the Tri-City ValleyCats in the best-of-three NYPL Championship Series starting on Tuesday night in Troy, NY.
