Pennsylvania Business Central Seeks Nominations for “Women Making A Difference”

STATE COLLEGE — For the third consecutive year, Pennsylvania Business Central, the region’s top journal reporting on business, industry and non-profit organizations, is seeking nominations for its “Women Making a Difference” edition.

The list of honorees will be selected by the St. Francis University Small Business Development Center. Guiding the selection committee will be Dr. Randy Frye, a long-time advocate for business and organizational development.

Frye currently serves as dean of the School of Business at St. Francis. Business Central publisher, David Wells, is looking forward to this year’s nominations. “Each of the past few years, this list has grown in stature and interest,” he said. “More and more women are leading their organizations across the majority of business sectors. From construction to manufacturing, high tech to communications, and hospitality to human services, women are contributing to the growth and development of this region. It’s important that we recognize their tremendous contributions.”

Nomination forms for “Women Making a Difference” can be found at the Business Central Web site, www.pabusinesscentral.com or by contacting Lauren Muthler at lmuthler@pabusinesscentral.com.

The deadline for submissions is Sept. 6. The list will be published in the Sept. 20 issue of Pennsylvania Business Central.
