DelGrosso’s Amusement Park Mascot Lends a Helping Paw

Buddy’s Dog Days of Summer Celebration to Benefit Shelters

TIPTON – DelGrosso’s Amusement Park mascot Buddy Bear is celebrating the Dog Days of Summer by passing along a great deal and helping out his furry friends at area animal shelters.

Guests coming to the park on Thursday can bring an item on the shelter wish list and get half off their All-Day Fun Pass for DelGrosso’s Amusement Park. It is normally $17.95 but with a gift, the pass will be $8.95.  One dollar from that pass will also be donated to the participating shelters.

Representatives from area shelters will also be at the park from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m.  They will have information about animals that need to find new homes and ways you can help.

“We at DelGrosso’s Amusement Park know how important it is to help community groups. We can make a big difference by each giving a little.  We hope that some lucky animals will find new homes during our event, and that the shelters will go home with lots of gifts,” said Carl Crider Jr., general manager of DelGrosso’s Amusement Park.

The Shelter Wish List includes: kitten and puppy food; kitty litter; canned cat and dog foods; soft treats; and rawhide bones.
