Teaming Up to Take On Aggressive Driving – PennDOT, the Clearfield Borough Police Department and Domino’s Pizza of Clearfield are joining forces to combat aggressive driving.

Wave two of the PennDOT-funded 2013 Pennsylvania Aggressive Driving Enforcement and Education Project runs through Aug. 15. Domino’s will show their support of the effort by placing fliers on pizza boxes through the end of the enforcement wave.

The Clearfield Borough Police Department is one of more than 350 municipal police departments that will participate across the state, along with the state police. The extra enforcement is a part of PennDOT’s $2.5 million investment of federal funds from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Aggressive driving behaviors include speeding, tailgating, improper passing and red-light running.
