Bloom and Berry Bash to Feature Farmer’s Markets, Crafts and More

CLEARFIELD – The first-ever Bloom and Berry Bash will be held from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. this Saturday on Market and Third streets in downtown Clearfield.

The Clearfield Revitalization Corp. (CRC) is the host of the “friendly, summer event” for children and families of all ages. The CRC has more than 60 vendors participating from farmer’s markets, crafts, downtown and local businesses, artisans, children’s activities, live entertainment and much more.

This summer festival is free.

“All are encouraged to grab something to eat, buy some fresh produce, play a couple games and support local businesses and our community,” said Main Street Manager Kellie Swales.

Market Street will be closed between Second and Third streets. In addition, Third Street will be closed between Market and Locust streets, making an L-shape between the two streets.

Entertainment will be located at the Clearfield County Courthouse. Downtown businesses will be open with sidewalk sales.

Event Schedule

10:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., Guitarnia

Attendees can come listen to the sounds and recitals of several Guitarnia students.

1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m., Fiddle & Guitar duo, Megan & Chris McGarry
Megan is an award-winning fiddler, and she duos with her father, Chris. The duo is from Grampian.

Many businesses are participating with sidewalk sales. Those businesses include: Spanky’s Courthouse Café; Neeper’s Sweet Treats, which will be holding its grand opening; E’s Warehouse; Express Café; Clearfield Pharmacy & Gift Shoppe; Historica Plus; Audio Video Appliance Center; Bob’s Army & Navy; CNB Bank; and the Market Street Gallery & Studio.

The CRC booth will be located on Market Street in front of the courthouse with food, T-shirts and children’s games.
