- An incident of DUI occurred at approximately 1:25 a.m. Sunday along Bee Hill Road in Lawrence Township. A 60-year-old Clearfield man was stopped for a traffic violation, and upon speaking with him, state police determined he’d been consuming alcoholic beverages. The man attempted and subsequently failed one field sobriety test. He was too intoxicated to perform any further field sobriety testing. He was placed under arrest for suspected DUI and transported to the Clearfield Hospital for a blood draw after which his blood was sent to the Erie Crime Lab. Charges of DUI and related summary offenses are pending against the suspect through the district court.
- An incident of DUI occurred at approximately 2:43 a.m. Sunday on U.S. Route 322 in Bradford Township. A 23-year-old Bigler man committed several traffic violations, and further investigation revealed that he was under the influence of alcohol. He was subsequently arrested for DUI and transported to the Clearfield Hospital for blood testing.
- On Sunday, a blue gazing ball lawn ornament and two stands were found in the area of 2100 Salem Rd. in Boggs Township. The owner can claim the property by contacting the Clearfield-based state police at 814-857-3800.
