WINGATE — Once-beaten Bald Eagle Area remained undefeated in the Mountain League by outscoring Clearfield in every quarter for a 54-25 victory in high school girls basketball action Tuesday night.
The high-flying Lady Eagles soared to a 31-10 halftime lead in their ninth league win, their 14th overall.
Breanna Peters scored 14 points, including a pair of three-pointers, for the Lady Bison, who fell to 5-11 with a 3-6 ML record.
Marissa Ward and Kate Miller paced the Lady Eagles with 15 points apiece.
Bald Eagle Area won the junior varsity game, 44-19.
The Lady Bison will host Huntingdon Thursday in a twice-postponed game and then travel to Bellefonte Friday.
