JOHNSONBURG — Since sweeping DuBois Central Catholic on September 18 to raise their record to 2-3 on the season, the Curwensville Lady Tide volleyball team has dropped three in a row to set their record at 2-6.
Tuesday night in Johnsonburg, the Lady Tide 3-1 to the host Lady Rams by the scores of 13-25, 24-26, 25-22, 19-25.
Despite the losing streak Lady Tide head coach Sandy Bailor certainly hasn’t given up on her squad, “We a struggling right now. We just need to continue working hard. We have a new nucleus on the court and we are working on the team concept. I am proud of the way the girls continue to work hard and with their determination, the wins will come.”

The Lady Tide junior varsity team remained undefeated at 8-0 with a 25-23, 25-17 sweep.
It may be hard to break the losing streak right away as the Lady Tide head to DuBois on Thursday night October 4 to face the Lady Beavers, a team that swept the Lady Tide in the season opener.
