CURWENSVILLE – After their 5-game loss to Clearfield on Monday night, the Curwensville Lady Tide needed a big win on Tuesday and got just that with a sweep of visiting DuBois Central Catholic on Tuesday night.
Curwensville (2-3) won by scores of 25-11, 25-10, 25-10.
Lady Tide Head Coach Sandy Bailor liked the way her team responded to the previous night’s loss, “It was nice to come back tonight and play well and serve well after a disappointing 5-game loss against Cleafield . Our serving tonight was very much improved and I believe that the girls understand the importance of serving – if you serve well, you will win matches. I was pleased with the way we came out strong tonight and finished strong; which we did not do against Clearfield.”
