CURWENSVILLE — The Curwensville Lady Tide jumped out to a 2-0 lead, but the Clearfield Lady Bison came storming back to sweep the final three games to defeat the Lady Tide in high school girl’s volleyball action at Patton Hall Monday night.
The win upped Clearfield’s record to 2-3 on the season, while Curwensville dropped to 1-3 (not counting their 4-2 mark at the recent West Branch Warrior Blast tourney).
The scores were: 18-25, 20-25, 25-20, 25-16, 15-12.
The Lady Tide junior varsity team remained undefeated on the season at 4-0 after winning a 3-set match 25-23, 20-25, 15-9.
Curwensville doesn’t have much time to recoup as they return to the court Tuesday night when they host DuBois Central Catholic.
Likewise, Clearfield doesn’t have much time to savor the big win as they host Bellefonte Tuesday night.
