- An incident of indecent assault occurred at approximately 6:25 a.m. Monday at Windy Hill Village in Rush Township. A staff member reported to state police that a 68-year-old Philipsburg woman had alleged she’d been inappropriately fondled by a known facility caregiver/employee. The resident was removed from the employee’s care pending the investigation. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
- No injuries were reported following a hit-and-run accident that occurred at 6 p.m. Monday on North Ninth Street in Philipsburg Borough. Jason S. McMillen, 34, of Philipsburg was traveling southbound and stopped, turning his left turn signal on to enter his driveway. Someone who was operating a Ford Mustang failed to stop in time and rear-ended the McMillen vehicle. McMillen continued his turn; however, the other driver failed to stop his vehicle and fled southbound on North Ninth Street.
- An incident of theft by unlawful taking or disposition occurred when someone stole an orange and gray-colored 20-inch BMX bicycle from a State Street residence in Rush Township. The bicycle is a Tony Hawk model. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Philipsburg-based state police at 814-342-3370.
- An incident of harassment occurred at 4 a.m. Saturday on Kathy Street in Rush Township. A 20-year-old woman allegedly struck a 26-year-old man in the face. Charges will be filed through the district court.
