CLEARFIELD – The Mountain Laurel Kennel Club invites area dogs and their humans to its Canine Carnival from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. Oct. 6 at the Clearfield VFW picnic grounds in the Clearfield Fireman’s Commerce Park.
The rain date is Oct. 7.
The event will feature Meet and Greet the Breeds, games, a costume contest, demonstrations, vendors, food and children’s activities, according to MLKC President Kelly Stilson
The carnival will also mark one of the final performances of the year by the MLKC Drill Team. The complete schedule includes:
12 p.m. – Open
12:30 p.m. – Meet and Greet the Breeds Parade
1 p.m. – Marshmallow Race game
1:30 p.m. – MLKC Drill Team
2 p.m. – Simon Says game
2:30 p.m. – Rally Demonstration by Peggy Brown and her Golden Retrievers
3 p.m. – Hot Dog game
3:30 p.m. – Demonstration
4 p.m. – Musical Hula Hoops game
4:30 p.m. – Costume Contest
5 p.m. – Closing activities
