– A person(s) rummaged through two vehicles and removed minor items.
– A potential phone scam was reported along Montgomery Run Road.
– A vehicle was rummaged through in Hillsdale and someone removed a black iPod Touch.
– An incient of theft is being investigated that occurred at a local establishment.
– Two 911 hang-up calls were received from the armory on Coal Hill Road.
– Someone told police they were receiving harassing, hang-up phone calls from the DuBois area.
– Police responded to a verbal domestic incident and handled it at the scene. A man left the residence for the evening.
– Two were injured after a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of state Route 879 and Interstate 80. A Buick operated by a New York woman exited I-80 and collided with a Jeep operated by a Lawrence Township resident. The Buick’s driver and a Jeep passenger were transported to the Clearfield Hospital, where they were treated and released. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
– Police responded to an animal call but learned it was being handled by dog law officials.
– No one was injured after a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of SR 879 and Wolf Run Road. One vehicle was towed from the scene.
– An incident of criminal mischief was reported; however, police learned it involved marital property. Because it was civil in nature, the issue was referred to the woman’s attorney.
– A man attempted to break into a vehicle; however, he fled once an alarm sounded. He didn’t remove anything from the vehicle. Police have a description of the man. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
– A motorist who had become stranded in Clearfield was assisted at the Clearfield Hospital.
– Police are currently investigating a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of SR 879 and Supercenter Drive. A vehicle operated by a Clearfield woman proceeded through a flashing red light and was struck by another being operated by a Clearfield woman and traveling eastbound on SR 879. Both operators and all passengers were transported to the Clearfield Hospital for medical evaluation. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
