CLEARFIELD – As the host team for the 2012 Pennsylvania VFW Teener Area VI 13-and-14 Tournament, Jim’s Sports Center of Clearfield will welcome Philipsburg to the Lawrence Township Recreation Park Field for Game 1 Friday at 5:30 p.m.
The Curwensville Area High School Field will be the site for the other first-round game between Curwensville and Punxsutawney that evening.
All other games are booked for the LTRP diamond with games Saturday at 11 a.m. and 2 and 5 p.m. and Sunday at noon. If a second game is necessary Sunday to determine the Area VI champion, it will start 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.
Sid Lansberry, Ed Yeager, Brent Lykens, Chris Peacock and Brandon Billotte are coaching the Jim’s Sports Center team.
