June 1, 2012
- An 18 year old Reynoldsville man was traveling west on Behringer Highway when he fell asleep causing his vehicle to go off the road and hit a tree. No injuries reported and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
- Employees of the Shoe Department in the Dubois Mall reported that a known 27 year old DuBois man came into the store and put on a pair of shoes and left the store. When employees attempted to stop him, he denied taking the shoes and took off out of the store.
- A third party called police regarding a domestic dispute at the Meadowview Apartments. Upon arrival the male involved in the altercation was gone from the scene and the 29 year old female refused to give information to officers regarding his identity.
June 2, 2012
- Officers received a report of a possible drug deal happening in the Dixon Avenue area. The suspicious parties were gone upon officers arrival.
- Wal-Mart employees reported seeing a man leave the store with two sweepers without paying for them.
- A 35 year oldWilson Ave.man reported getting into a dispute with his 30 year old sister-in-law over her moving out of the home. Officers handled the situation without incident.
- A 22 year old woman reported that she got into an argument with her 63 year old father over her leaving the house. Her father got physical with her and kicked her out of the house. The investigation continues.
July 3, 2012
- Officers investigated a 911 hang up call at a Treasure Lake residence. The call was accidental.
A Hanes Drive man reported that while he was outside with his dog, a neighbors dog charged at them. He said he made it back into his apartment with his dog before the other dog got to them so no one was hurt. Officers warned the dogs owner about the dog running loose.
