Police Report: Curwensville Borough

—  Police are investigating a theft of prescription medication from an Anderson Street residence.

— Police assisted Children, Youth and Family Services in gaining access to a Ridge Avenue residence.  Upon entry a one year old child was taken into protective custody do to deplorable living conditions.

—  Police determined a report of two stolen snowmobiles from a garage on Windy Hill Road to be unfounded.  The items had been removed by the owner.

—  Police are investigating an act of criminal mischief that occurred at a State Street residence.  Unknown actors smashed out the rear window of  a Jeep Liberty.

—  Police located a person at the Curwensville Commons that had been reported to have been fighting.  Police spoke to involved parties and determined that there were no indications that a fight had taken place.

—  Police apprehended three males on the rail road bed near Windy Hill Road cutting and removing rail.    The males were arraigned on several charges and placed in the Clearfield County Prison on $10,000 bail.  Additional charges are pending.

—  Police issued a citation for public drunkenness to a Curwensville female.

—  Police responded to the Curwensville House for a report of a man out of control.  Prior to police arrival the manager and another female locked themselves in the office to elude the man.  MH/MR assisted at the scene.  The investigation continues.

—  Police are investigating an incident of theft where a female had pumped $47 worth of gasoline into a maroon Subaru Forrester and drove off without paying.

—  Police responded to a State Street residence for a psychological emergency.  The individual was taken to Clearfield Hospital for evaluation.
