- An incident of harassment occurred at 4:05 p.m. Thursday at a Gillingham Road residence in Girard Township, Clearfield County. A 21-year-old Frenchville man allegedly engaged in a loud, verbal argument in his backyard with a 19-year-old Frenchville woman. The argument became physical when he allegedly pushed and shoved the woman into a jeep, causing her to hit her head. Charges of harassment and disorderly conduct have been filed against the man through the district court.
- No injuries were reported following a single-vehicle accident at 4:05 p.m. Thursday along U.S. Route 322 in Bradford Township, Clearfield County. A 43-year-old Philipsburg woman was traveling westbound at which time she observed a couple of deer on the roadway. She swerved to miss them and lost control of her vehicle. Then, her vehicle traveled across the roadway and into the eastbound lane, where it struck the guiderail. Her vehicle came to a rest against the guiderail. Neither she nor her two passengers were injured, and all three were using the proper safety restraints. The woman will be cited for roadways laned for traffic.
- An incident of burglary occurred sometime between 7 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. Feb. 17 on Cherry Corner Road in Ferguson Township, Clearfield County. Someone broke into a 50-year-old Curwensville man’s residence and stole cash and a flashlight. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Clearfield-based state police at 814-857-3800.
- No injuries were reported following a single-vehicle accident at 11:15 p.m. Thursday along Interstate 80 at mile marker 127 in Graham Township, Clearfield County. A 47-year-old Ashland, OH man was traveling in the left lane and attempting to pass another vehicle. At that point, he lost control of his vehicle on the wet roadway. Then, his vehicle rotated counterclockwise, sliding off the northern berm and into the median. His vehicle rotated approximately 360 degrees before overturning onto its roof. The man was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident. He’ll be cited for roadways laned for traffic.
- An incident of burglary occurred sometime between 7 a.m. Feb. 18 and 7 a.m. Feb. 19 at Mike Pardo Trucking in Graham Township, Clearfield County. A person(s) gained entry into the garage by prying up the entrance door. Once inside, they stole several pieces of Shapon hand tools and impact wrenches. - An incident of public drunkenness/disorderly conduct occurred at 9:05 p.m. Feb. 19 along state Route 879 in Curwensville Borough, Clearfield County. A 28-year-old Grampian male was under the influence of a controlled substance to the extent it was believed he could endanger himself or others. He was transported to the Clearfield Hospital for treatment. There, he continuously used obscene language and was cited for the aforementioned crimes.
