MARTINSBURG — Monday night’s double-overtime victory for the Clearfield Lady Bisons was a thriller for the fans in attendance.
But more importantly, it gave coach Joey Castagnolo’s team momentum to take into their next contest. The momentum gives them confidence to perform on the road, as the remaining two games for the Lady Bisons this week are away from the Arthur J. Weiss Gymnasium.
The first of those games came Wednesday night as the team traveled to Martinsburg to take on the Lady Dragons of Central.
Clearfield was able to claim it’s second consecutive victory as they defeated Central by a final of 46-37.
Now sitting at 2-1, the Lady Bisons have one more game before the Christmas holiday as they travel to Bellefonte on Friday night.
