SHIPPENVILLE – Allegheny-Clarion Valley’s Landon Delisio is the RRR Roadhouse D9Sports.com Player of the Week for Week Eight.

Delisio played an instrumental role in the Falcons first win of the season, 28-24 at Hancock, Md., Saturday, scoring two touchdowns in the final 2:30 as A-C Valley rallied from a 24-14 deficit in the final 2:30 to win the game.

He finished the contest with nine carries for 119 yards and the two touchdowns and added four catches for 55 yards. He is the first A-C Valley player to earn Player of the Week honors since Mike Stewart was co-Player of the Week in Week Four of the 2001 season. Stewart is the only other Falcon to earn the award since its inception in 2000.

Joining Delisio in being honored are 15 additional players who are on the RRR Roadhouse D9Sports.com Honor Roll after outstanding games over the weekend.
