- An incident of public drunkenness reportedly occurred at 3 a.m. Sunday along Front Street in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. A 45-year-old Philipsburg man was observed sleeping on a bench. He reportedly smelled of a strong odor of alcohol. He was intoxicated and charged with public drunkenness.
- An incident of harassment reportedly occurred at 11 p.m. Oct. 20 along North Seventh Street in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. A 21-year-old Kylertown man and a 20-year-old Philipsburg man engaged in a physical altercation. Charges of harassment have been filed against both through the district court.
- An incident of cruelty to animals reportedly occurred at 8:50 p.m. Oct. 19 along South Front Street in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. A 44-year-old Philipsburg man’s cat wandered away from a period of time. When it returned home, it’d been shot by a 177-cal. Pellet gun.
- An incident of theft from a motor vehicle reportedly occurred at 6:40 p.m. Oct. 18 along West Sawmill Road in Worth Township, Centre County. A 23-year-old Port Matilda woman reported that a person(s) entered her unlocked vehicle while parked in her driveway and removed $40 from the center console. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Philipsburg-based state police at 814-342-3370. Residents are reminded to keep their vehicles locked when they’re unoccupied.
