CLEARFIELD — The Clearfield Lady Bison volleyball team picked up their third sweep of the season on Thursday when they bested Brookville 25-22, 25-18, and 25-23.
The win ups Clearfield’s record to 4-7.
The stat leaders for the Lady Bisons were Amber Claycomb with 13 service points and 23 assists, Dakota Farmery with 12 service points, and Adrienne Stucke with 15 service points.
After the win, Head Coach Sarah Fye singled out two of her key performers on the night, “”The girls had a lot of intensity and came out ready to play. Amber Claycomb did a nice job controlling the tempo of the game and got the ball where it needed to go. She also did well behind the service line. Dakota Farmery placed the ball where the defense wasn’t.”
The Lady Bison junior varsity team got within one game of .500 when they won two games to none, 25-18 and 25-19 to raise their record to 5-6.
