- An incident of criminal mischief reportedly occurred at 3:10 a.m. Tuesday at a Bennets Valley Highway address when a person(s) damaged a safety gate on a 26-year-old Weedville woman’s deck. They fled the scene undetected.
- No injuries were reported following a single-vehicle accident at 8:20 a.m. Tuesday along state Route 948 in Highland Township. A tractor-trailer operated by Douglas Lee Vanorden, 55, of Denver was traveling south when he lost control of it. The tractor-trailer traveled off the west side of the roadway, striking a tree and suffering severe damage. Police were assisted by the Highland Township Volunteer Fire Department.
- Sometime between 2 p.m. Sept. 28 and 2 p.m. Monday, a person(s) forced open the main door to a 75-year-old Kersey man’s garage, damaging its hasp. They allegedly removed seven batteries, three catalytic converters, one 100-foot extension cord and a Homelite chainsaw 150. The total value of the stolen property is $120.
- A 78-year-old Sigel man’s mailbox was damaged sometime between 9 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday in the Stanley Hill Road area of Spring Creek Township.
