Mill Hall – The Clearfield junior varsity football team raised their record to 2-3 on the season after their 24-0 shut out of Central Mountain Monday night.
Clearfield was able to score in each quarter while posting their first shut out.
The Bisons opened the scoring in the opening 10 minutes on a 1-yard plunge by quaterback Tyler Woomer.
Rico Longoria scampered for eight yards in the second quarter to give the visiting Bisons a 14-0 halftime lead.
All Clearfield could muster in the third quarter was a safety to put the game out of reach at 16-0.
Seth Beardsley added a 9-yard touchdown run in the final frame to set the score at 24-0.
Clearfield will look to get to .500 on the season when they host rival P-O next Monday night.
