- Police responded to a report of a person urinating in front of 3 S. Front St. in Philiplsburg. Charges are pending.
- Someone stole the registration/license plate from a Philipsburg woman’s 1998 Dodge Caravan while it was on Verbeck Lane in Rush Township.
- A hit-and-run was reported in the parking lot at Weis. A legally parked vehicle was struck by another vehicle on the right rear door and right rear wheel. The other vehicle then fled the scene without reporting the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
- On Aug. 11 a traffic stop was conducted on a Philipsburg man for a traffic violation. During the stop the driver and passenger gave conflicting stories about their travels. A consent to search was obtained. During the search the driver was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.
