- Police are investigating an assault at SCI-Houtzdale. A 23-year-old inmate allegedly stabbed another inmate with a shank.
- On July 1 someone removed a Madera woman’s purse from a location on Hill Street in Chester Hill Borough. In the purse she had money, checks and assorted cards. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
- Police investigated an incident of harassment. A Brisbin man took a swing at another Brisbin man then harassed him. Charges were filed.
- A hit-and-run that occurred on Spring Street in Osceola Mills is under investigation. An unknown vehicle struck the passenger side doors with its side mirror then fled the scene.
- A Grampian man was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop on US Route 219.
- Someone shot a pellet gun at a Coalport man’s front window. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
- Someone gained entry to a residence on the Allport Cut-off through unknown means. Once inside, they removed a coin jar containing $80 in coins then fled the scene.
