- No injuries were reported after a minor accident on state Route 879 bypass during which a vehicle struck a deer. The vehicle sustained minor damage.
- A report was received about damage to a vehicle, while it was parked on Supercenter Drive.
- Another agency was assisted with a warrant service.
- Code enforcement was assisted with posting condemned property.
- Police responded to Smith Street for a reported loose dog.
- A phone scam was investigated by police after a resident was contacted by someone who claimed to be with the U.S. Government. A call back number was left and traced to a wireless service in Toronto, Canada. Residents are advised not to provide personal information over the phone or Internet.
- A suspicious vehicle was reported at a business along Old Town Road.
- Police were notified of an incident of disorderly conduct in the Hillsdale area. The mater was handled without any charges.
- Police responded to a neighbor dispute along Hill Street. The incident was handled at the scene.
- A complaint was received about an incident of trespass in the Hillsdale area.
- A report was received about a suspicious vehicle along Charles Road. The vehicle was described as a dark blue Toyota Camry and observed in the area several times. It had New Jersey plates and anyone with information is asked to contact police.
- Police responded to a large piece of metal that was lying on the westbound lanes of state Route 153. The object was removed before police arrived.
- Because warmer weather has set in, police would like to remind motorists to watch for pedestrians who are walking along the roadways. Police would also like to remind those walking during the evening and later hours to wear light-colored clothing or something that reflects.
- Police were called to the Lawrence Township Recreation Park for a dog that’d been found. The dog’s owner was located, and it was returned.
- Police responded to a single-vehicle accident on Washington Avenue. A vehicle was operated by a Clearfield male who lost control, entering a ditch before striking a large rock. The male fled the scene on foot; his vehicle was towed from the scene. A short time later, police located the male and took him into custody. Charges are currently pending.
- An intoxicated male was located walking along River Road. He was transported to his residence.
- A vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation at which time police learned the operator was wanted by the Clearfield Borough Police on three warrants.
- A report was received about a hit-and-run accident at the Super 8. During the investigation, police learned of the suspect who was in New Jersey and contacted him via phone.
